"We're happy to be working with The Port of Los Angeles in their efforts to enhance their web presence and to reach a global audience. Their micro-site on jocsailings.com will be viewed and utilized by a qualified audience of ocean shipping professionals that has taken decades to build and maintain. By providing them with this additional resource we have thoroughly increased the value of the website," said Ray Venturino, VP Global Seaports of JOC Sailings.
The Port of Los Angeles micro-site (http://www.jocsailings.com/JOCPorts/PortofLosAngeles.aspx) provides NVOCC's, 3PLs, freight forwarders, BCO's and anyone involved in the cargo transportation industry with a global sailing schedule module that accurately, displays sailing schedules departing from or arriving to the port. Searches may be performed by region, country and port names. Results are generated displaying carrier names, vessels, voyage numbers, departure and arrival dates.
The micro-site also includes access to a port guide, statistics including: Top Trading Partners, Top Trading Routes, Top Containerized Imports (in TEU's), Top Containerized Exports (in TEU's), terminal descriptions and a jobs portfolio that will inform the industry-at-large of the many services available at the port. Direct links to container terminal facilities are also available supplying mode of operation, height, berths and other terminal features.
